I used to be an avid hiker in my college years. My classmates and I organized innumerable outings to the Peruvian highlands every time we had a school break. Those were wonderful times!
I have not done much hiking since I moved to the United States in 2000, but I am trying to retake the hobby, so look up for my next postings, I will give you insights of my recent trip to San Gorgonio Mountain, the highest peak in Southern California.

I am not a hiker, but all of you hikers have all my support with one condition: if you find any abandoned animal in your way up the montain, please make sure to stop and do whatever it takes to have it taken care of.
ReplyDeleteI did a lot of backpacking in my college years, mostly in the midwest. If you ever find yourself in West Virginia, I highly recommend that you check out the Cranberry Wilderness in the Monongahela National Forest. Absolutely amazing!
ReplyDeleteDear AnaLu,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. Yes, you are right; our love for nature has to start for the beautiful creatures that we find along the way.
Cheers!
